Hilltop came to me after doing the TrueBridge site. They are members of TrueBridge and wanted something for their church. They are a congregation primarily made up of older people and were looking for a site that would appeal to that older generation while at the same time attracting some younger people to their congregation.
This is quite a task, but I think we pulled it off!
A few features worth mentioning:
- Rotating image slider with images of their own church – not stock photos
- Custom icons on the home page
- A clear call to action with the large “What to Expect” button leading to helpful content about their worship style
- sermon audio streaming and podcast feed
- Well organized content and easy to find information on service times and directions
NOTE: the slow page load times that you may encounter are due to the web host they chose to use (GoDaddy.com), not a limitation of WordPress or the design of the site. If you are considering having a site built, talk to me before choosing a web hosting provider since some are better than others.
