Forerunners is a ministry of Triad Baptist Church in Kernersville, NC. It’s a ministry for young men, much like Boy Scouts. They came to me in need of a website to connect their members as well as advertise their fledgling ministry.
This site features a nice, large image slider on the home page with custom content boxes beneath highlighted by custom icons. I also implemented a custom WordPress gallery that shows of some great photos of the ministry in action.
Other features include:
- Google calendar integration (full month view as well as a sidebar list view)
- Video blog section with easy YouTube integration
- SEO friendly
- RSS feed to email service for pushing out news updates to members
